It may have rained on our parade – and cancelled it – but the last day of Cork Puppetry Festival 2014 went ahead in the Lord Mayor’s Pavilion in Fitzgerald’s Park. A classic Punch and Judy show delighted the children in our audience, and adults and children alike rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make a simple rod puppet under the watchful eyes of Davy Dummigan from Dowtcha Puppets.
